Regardless which ward you hang out in, what happens in City Council affects us all. In support with Jeremiah Ellison’s city council campaign in Minneapolis, I worked alongside Kelsi Sharp and Jeremiah’s team to develop sustainable swag printed on demand, during Open Streets Broadway & his birthday, on second hand apparel to demonstrate how art can impact and fuel a revolution. Getting to screen print for almost six hours so folks could literally wear their values on their sleeves stills feels a bit surreal to me. Jeremiah and his crew are the real deal and this zero waste apparel approach is the way to go.
